Mostly requested: How to grow LONG THICK HAIR!!

1. Avoid hot tools. It is certainly tempting to wrangle your locks into complete submission with the use of blow dryers, flat irons, and curling wands, but these hot tools can actually be detrimental to adding length and thickness to your hair. The extreme heat damages hair, making it more likely to break off mid-strand and appear fried. When possible, let your hair air-dry and use heat-less styling methods.

2. Stay away from hair dyes and relaxers. Just like heat, the chemicals present in dyes and relaxers are highly likely to cause breakage in your strands. What does this mean? Short, frizzy, and damaged looking hair. Stay away from these chemicals whenever possible, and use all-natural dyes and lightening solutions (such as henna) instead of the harsh chemical versions.

3. Limit hair washing. The oil that causes hair to look greasy is called sebum, and is responsible for strengthening and adding nutrients to your scalp and locks. Therefore, if you’re washing your hair on a daily basis, you are removing the natural ingredient your body produces to help thicken and lengthen your hair. Space out hair washing as far as you can, and limit it to at least every other day.

4. Wash your hair with cold water. When you wash your face with cold water, it closes your pores and keeps them free of grime; your hair responds similarly when washed in cold water, by closing the cuticle of the hair and flattening out the scales. This makes your hair look better, makes it easier to manage, and keeps it healthier longer. Therefore, when you wash your hair use the coldest water you can tolerate and reap the benefits.

5. Use specialized hair products. Not all hair products are made the same, and there are many on the market that are specifically for use in lengthening and thickening hair. Look for these as well as anti-frizz products; frizzy hair can give the illusion of short, thin hair. When possible though, look for hair products that contain all-natural or organic ingredients rather than harsh chemicals which could worsen your hair.

6. Pick out a new shampoo. Shampoo can be incredibly drying on your hair, which removes the helpful oils necessary for promoting hair growth. Find a shampoo that is sulfate-free for gentler hair care. Not only will your hair look better, you probably won’t have to wash it so often too.

7. Use gentle hair tools. If you've ever used a rubber-band to tie up your hair, you know how damaging certain tools can be to your hair. Use only tug-friendly elastic bands and hair clips with rubber-ends. When possible, use only plastic combs that lack seams to brush your hair as other brushes can catch in your hair and yank out strands.

8. Give yourself a scalp massage. You can stimulate your scalp into producing hair a bit faster by massaging it on a regular basis. Warm up some coconut oil until it is comfortable to the touch, and rub it into your scalp and the roots of your hair for 5-10 minutes. If you do this once a week for several months, you’ll notice a significant growth spurt in your hair.

9. Use a deep-conditioning treatment. In an attempt to repair split ends and breakage along your strands, you can give yourself a deep-conditioning treatment. You can purchase one at a store, or do one at home using mayonnaise (yes, it sounds gross but it works really well). Rub the conditioning treatment into your hair and let it soak for 20-30 minutes. Rinse it out as per usual, and repeat the process once a month. As an additional benefit to speeding up the growing process, your hair will be much softer too.

10. Style your hair differently. Certain hairstyles, such as small braids and tight buns, can tug and pull out hair, and cause breakage where the elastic bands sit. Mix up your hairstyles throughout the week so that the same area of hair isn't constantly getting damaged, and avoid using any hairstyles that put a lot of pressure on your scalp.

Girls follow these rules to get amazingly thick, silky long hair, enjoy!

Wondering How To Lose Weight?

Weight problem is one of the biggest problems most people face with more and more people struggling to lose weight. There are several ways that are suggested for losing weight some bordering on the impossible. Communities have been formed both online and offline to help people try and lose weight for example the Lifestyle Accountability show, www.lifestyleaccountability.com that helps people through their journey to losing weight by sharing stories of people who have been through the process and many more. Here is one way on how to lose weight fast.

The water diet:
Now, do not be fooled by the name. This is not a water- only diet. This diet involves drinking about eight cups of cold water at regular intervals throughout the day. You should also drink a cup of water before having any meal to help suppress your appetite. That way, when you have your meal, you will feel a bit full and consume less food thus reducing your calorie intake. Do not, however, take water only without consuming food as your body needs nutrients to stay healthy.

GET RID OF ALL THE SUGARS, WHICH INCLUDE: CHOCOLATE  BARS, CANDY BARS AND FAST MEALS.

Being healthy means eating breakfast, drinking lots of water, eating a healthy lunch and dinner.
For breakfast try eating oatmeal with berries and almond milk or fresh juice or go for boiled eggs and fresh juice.
For Lunch try eating grilled chicken breast and vegetables or sauteed veggies and plain white rice.
For a healthy and lite snack try eating fresh fruits and/or vegetables with a low fat dip.
For dinner try eating a big plate of vegetables and grilled steak.

Hope you enjoy!

Beauty Tips: How to Do Foundation Like a Pro.

Forget what you think you know about foundation—it’s come a long way since the cakey, masklike stuff your mom used to wear. “Modern ones feel as lightweight as moisturizer,” says celebrity makeup artist Troy Surratt, who has worked with Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez. “Celebs look so great on the red carpet because they’re usually wearing foundation. It makes anyone’s skin look flawless,” he says. Here’s how to get in on the miracle.

Step 1: Find your perfect color

“Test foundation on your jawline and check it in the daylight,” says CoverGirl makeup guru Pat McGrath. “The color is correct if it disappears without blending.” Finding the right shade at the drugstore can be harder, but Surratt gives this sneaky tip: “If you can’t afford to splurge on foundation, get a beauty adviser at a department store to help you pick the perfect color, and ask for a sample to take home. Then bring it to the drugstore and look for the closest match.”

Step 2: Prep your skin

For the perfect canvas, make sure your skin is clean and moisturized. “Wait five minutes before you apply foundation to let moisturizer sink in,” says makeup pro Rachel Goodwin, who works with Emma Stone and Jessica Biel. Primer is a skippable step unless your makeup has to last through a late night. Or use it alone on lazy days as a quick complexion smoother. “Primer can minimize pores and mattify your face,” says Surratt.

Step 3: Swipe it on the right way

If you want just a little coverage, use your fingers, pros advise. For more coverage, use a sponge. The Beauty-blender Cosmetic Sponge is a cult favorite among pros: “It leaves just the right amount on the skin,” says Goodwin. For everyday, dab foundation only where you need it to hide pimples, camouflage redness or even out your T-zone. To get an airbrushed finish, blend makeup all over, including the eye area, starting in the middle and working your way out. Just don’t pile on extra for big events or photos. Digital cameras won’t wash you out like old school ones used to, so less is more.

Step 4: Do concealer after foundation

“If you apply it before, you’ll use more than you need,” says Goodwin. And that base of foundation keeps concealer crease-free. Look for a lightweight liquid in a color one shade lighter than your skin. “Going too light looks fake,” says McGrath, like reverse raccoon eyes. Use a small, pointy brush to cover the darkest part of under-eye circles—usually right below the inner and outer corners. If other little skin flaws aren’t quite covered by your foundation, dab on a tiny bit of concealer there too.

Step 5: Finish with luminous powder

Unlike old matte versions, it won’t suck the life out of your face. “New translucent powders that reflect the light help skin glow and take down shine,” says Surratt. Dust one on in a W motion. Starting at your hairline on one side, swoop down to your cheekbone, up to the bridge of your nose, back down the other cheek, then up again to the opposite hairline.
